We've joined forces with Project ReGo to create a limited run of BEEN London x ReGo Yael recycled leather clutches, finished with zippers created from discarded knives taken off London streets.

All profits from the sales of the collection will go to ReGo to support its ongoing youth-led fashion activism interventions.

Materials

Beautifully crafted from soft smooth grain recycled leather, which is made in Italy from tannery offcuts and trimmings that would have otherwise been discarded by the fashion industry and was originally a bi-product of the meat industry.

HOW IT’S MADE

For this very limited run collection, blades collected from KnifeSafe were transformed by ReGo into zip pulls using water jet technology by Octagon Precision.
The zip pulls were then added to a collection of our Martello, Yael and Daley pouches, all handcrafted in the UK using recycled leather made from tannery offcuts.
